Welcome to Cambridge Elementary School, a part of the Alamo Heights Independent School District. Cambridge Elementary boasts a student-teacher ratio of 13:1 and reflects an overall Niche rating of "A" minus for academics, diversity, and staff performance. With an enrollment of a little over 800, Cambridge distributes the students among seven first grade classes and eight classes for grade levels two through five. Two classes at each grade level are Spanish Immersion. Cambridge Elementary serves students from Alamo Heights, Olmos Park, and a portion of North San Antonio. The school promotes five key principles: integrity, gratitude, perseverance, compassion, and kindness. Cambridge Elementary has a mission to prepare students to excel academically, with confidence and compassion. Recognized nationally as a School of Character by Character.org, the current campus is very close to the first wood-framed single room schoolhouse built in Alamo Heights all the way back in 1909. In 1912, a masonry building was constructed on the site of the campus and the school has undergone continual capital improvements ever since. Cambridge Elementary became a part of the Alamo Heights Independent School District when it was established in 1923. Built in 1909 this school has lots of history. One of the best public schools in San Antonio. Excellent curriculum and school pride.

Cambridge is an amazing school. IT has a small town feel and teachers are constantly striving to engage students and creating live long relationships. Children are happy and the faculty carries a smile in their face

I attended Cambridge from 2006-2010 and I had a fairly good education. Although I was bullied throughout my education was excellent- except 4th grade.
