GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

This charter school is unique. Though in some areas the school lacks, the relationships you establish with teachers is fundamental. Every staff member there connects with you and makes sure you are on the road for success.

I love my school due to my teachers. The teachers at my school show they care in many ways such as making sure we all are keeping up with our grades, always on task , and also checking on us to see how we are doing all the time . Our teachers actually show they genuinely care and not just here for a check. A few things I would change is how strict they are on the seniors (me). I wish we had more freedom because we still get the same privileges as when we were in middle school and I find that unfair. Overall, I wouldn't want to spend my senior year anywhere else .

I like that Idea Walzem College Prep helps prepare you for college and takes you through the steps on applying for college and as well as scholarships. I also like that the teachers care about the well being of their students and always give opportunities to pick up your grades.

It’s been four years, and nothing has changed. The VP puts on a dog and pony show anytime someone else important shows up, but my...
