I would like to see the food change, but that is more of a district issue. I feel the teachers must be evaluated more than once every year.

My experience at John Marshall High School has been a big learning curve for me socially and academically. My school is one of the less fortunate which is a big eye opener seeing other schools' way of life and success. However, it has kept me humble which allowed me to try harder for opportunities. Looking at where I'm starting and strive to succeed from this. The teachers at this school are hit or miss some can be the best teachers you've ever met and others have you questioning who you are and why someone can't be nice to someone they barely know. It presents me with a lot of independence because I don't feel comfortable asking these teachers for guidance. After all, they make me feel dumb.

Overall, the school is a great place for a diverse group of students to come and learn. Teachers are quality and caring for students. There is a sense of security and community in the school that is lost in other big high schools.

My child is now in her 2nd year at Marshall. She has enjoyed her experience at this high school. Her academic core-subject teachers have been outstanding and are preparing her well for life beyond high school. The success of the teaching staff is due in part to the school principals who are top notc...
