The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience so far has been good. I've had a lot of help from gear yo advisor with making sure my grades are good and I'm ready for college.

My experience at South San Antonio High School has been very fun and exciting with a ton of unexpected memories. I would say the best part of South San would be the Early College program as it helped me get an associate degree while in high school. The worst part of the school would be the food, it is horrible and I can't stand eating it every day. I would like to see them change the food and bring more resources for the students and their needs.

I've enjoyed my time at South San and the experiences I am able to have with them. I have been able to create relationships with the teachers I have had here and make amazing friends as well. I'd say the only thing I don't like are the other students there who don't care about their education and decide to make things bad for the students who do.

The information along with the reviews are VERY OUTDATED. South San can be compared to any school in the city & even out with it. South San is NOT what it was 15 - 20 years ago. We have a Brand new school with state of the art equipment for use & great staff on board. We offer many paths for program...
