Something I struggled growing up is English in language arts. I had trouble understanding the context of an story. Freshman year is when I start high school at , St Philips College Early College High School. All the staff has helped me academically. I had so much growth from middle school. Since my school is pretty small, I was able to have 1 on 1 tutoring sessions with teachers. Not only that, all the staff have impacted me. Throughout my high school years I've had dealt with so many problems, I encounter. Everyday at least one teacher would always check up on me. Making sure I don't give up on myself and my dreams.

I enjoyed some of the resources and facilities at St. Philip's ECHS, however not all college facilities were open to the ECHS students. I do wish there were more funding towards field trips and off campus educational events for ECHS students.

St Philip's has developed my learning skills in so many areas and all my teachers talk about my improvement. It's a very welcoming community and truly a great experience for me.
