GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Jefferson High School has overall been a great experience. Teachers are ready to help if needed and it is very easy to contact staff, counselors, and advisors. Each year at this high school has prepared me for my college and career journey.

The school can be alright although, there is sometimes a struggle with how the administration team deals with stuff. Like enacting a clear backpack policy in the last month of school, and phone cubbies instead of educating students about how their education is important. Phone distraction is a big thing at Jefferson but I believe the school should approach the problem a different way.

As a previous student I feel like I enjoyed my experience at Jefferson overall. I was an athlete so I was always very involved and I felt like there was always tons of school spirit around me. I only gave it 4 stars because I was bullied more than once and I believe the administrators could've handled it better for me.

I graduated from this school this past year, and I had the best teachers and the best counselor Ms.Juli Gonzalez, and its football team held Brennan high school a team ranked 4th in the state last year under 200 rushing yards and under 100 passing yards and only let them score 14 points even though...
