Health Sciences High & Middle College in my opinion is one of the best high schools you can go to. You can get hands on experiences and full on jobs they offer a CNA and and EMT program. They give you the opportunity to graduate with college credits and you can already have preveous college experience with actual college professors. The teachers are always very involved with their students and always look at for them. Another thing that I really love about the school is that the teacher are the ones that are coaching any teams which allows them to connect more. We have many different diversity clubs that students can be a part of. Students are allowed to even make more clubs as long as they have certain amount of people. Over time more and more things are being added to the school because they want to improve things for their students. It might be a small school but that allows teachers and staff members to be able to connect more with their students.

It was a good school the most influential part was the internship opportunities. I did online school for half of my high school career, there's 1 hour off campus lunch as well.

While the students at the school were incredibly diverse and caring, the administration treated our school as a business, a choice that hurt many students. Some grades were inflated by incredibly lenient curves, and despite college classes being offered, the core classes did not prepare students for a college-level course.

Terrible, if you want easy grades, this is your school. If you want to fail in college, this is your school.

I have never seen nor heard of a school in America which holds learning to this high of a standard. This is not the typical A-F "numbers game" I grew up with where you do your best just to become a number on a dry ledger. This school combines the BEST of academics AND application WITH student to tea...

HSHMC brought a middle school in this year which my son now attends 8th grade. The school and teachers are amazing. NO ONE slips through the cracks and the system instills every student to learn the material BEFORE they move on to the next subject. The support is always there and the peer environment...

My kids felt valued here and enjoyed their time however, the academic standard is extremely low. The teachers pass the kids through classes even if the kids do not complete the work. Also, the classes were more around 28 - 30, not 14. The other issue is that because of the area where the school is l...
