GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I had an overall good experience with my High School. Teachers and staff are very supportive, but some aspects on courses need to be reviewed. Very few teacher's lessons seem useless for an average student. I made a lot of memories at this school and i'm very grateful to get the opportunity to attend here for the past 4 years.

This school is a project based learning school that provides a great sense of community and truly respects its students. It's a smaller group of students, and ensures we are much more connected and spent time with versus public non charter schools. Unfortunately , I also have to acknowledge the staff retention issues, and problem with teachers not meeting learning requirements in the curriculum.

As a senior, my year has been fun since ASB put together ways to build up our school spirit like teachers vs students with basketball. It is a close community and free environment. Students are able to talk to teachers casually and many are accepting to ideas and alternative projects if needed. There is a lot of peer reviewing which is good for the project-based assignments.

Amazing school. Deeply caring and accessible instructors. An accademic program that supports cross cultural understanding and gives each student the opportunity to achieve all that they can. Dual enrollment (enrollment in College Courses while in HS) is supported but is an addition to regular classe...

Students and teachers couldn't have been nicer, but education was seriously lacking, which is why I left after one year.

I am a HTHI alumni and I have nothing but amazing things to say about the education I received. I transfered from a traditional public high school to HTHI. As a result of the education I received I was accepted into highly competitive colleges and am excelling at the university I chose to attend. My...

Dear nervous parents, I hope my review of this school will help you truly understand more about this school and what it means to me. I will address a few points of criticism 1) HTHI curriculum; HTHI is not about the content you learn but rather the critical thinking process. It is true that I did no...
