The amount of individual attention students receive it outstanding, especially for the K-3 kids. Compared to other private schools, MSSD is a very good value. I've heard so many parents say how this school is a "gem", and I agree.

My daughter loves theMontessori school of San Diego. She has been going here since she was 3 years old and is doing amazing! She can read so well! She loves reading and math and I love how everything is at their own pace. Couldn't be happier with this school!

There's too much emphasis placed on teaching kids to read and write but the not enough on emotional growth and socialization. Children as young as 3 and 4 are punished by timeouts, frowns and finger wagging while "the good kids" are showered with warm hugs and extra attention. Overall, there's not e...
