GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have attended this school since sixth grade I'd say the middle school is very diverse and the teachers are very easy to connect with. The high school is a little less diverse but there remains a large Hispanic, black, and Asian demographic. The high school is very small so there is a low number of students. The staff is sweet and helpful. As for facilities, there are little to none, unfortunately.

My overall experience with being at O'Farrell is that the Falcon way has a lot of respect on its name. I love the people at O'Farrell they are kind and respectful. My best experience at O'Farrell is the pep rally's and the spirit weeks we get to participate with the school. I don't think there's any worst parts about O'Farrell. I would like to see more buildings and people showing kindness even when they don't want to. Thank you so much

Horrible experience, the principle was not understanding, didn’t know how to communicate and purposely ignored mine and my child’s request to move classrooms due to teacher to student harassment and bullying.

O'farrell school is a great school, what I like the most is that teachers are dedicated to learning the student, and they do not have saturated classes, which means that teachers can pay attention to each of their students, both in primary, secondary, and high school, and above all they prepare them...

1) the classes are 2 hours long, most of the time you sit there doing absolutely nothing. Feels dreadful, you can feel every second passing by 2) teachers use scare tactics, like “ if you dont turn this in you wont graduate highschool”3) school is really really small, once passing period hits you be...

This school is wack. Their lottery system is absolutely ridiculous. Instead of giving priority to the students in the community, it’s a free for all. Your chances of getting into O’Farrell are pure luck as they take applications from all over San Diego County. Also, be aware that this is a K thru 12...
