GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My first year of high school was entirely online so it was violently disappointing and boring. San Dimas High has a very interesting culture, it's a pretty small city so everybody's business is kind of just out there. I played varsity soccer all four years and we won the first State Championship in school history my freshman year. I'm eternally grateful for the friends I found at this school, the connections I've been able to make have truly changed my life.

San Dimas High School gave me an education which is great but it's about the only thing they gave me. The staff constantly chooses favorites especially admin. Only those who were in there favor were able to have an enjoyable experience. Not only was there favoritism but it is a white dominant school so racism is very prevelant and rarely acknowledged. Some light was recently shined on this subject but they still need to do much more work. Athletics and arts were never equal, although common it's an issue. I had a few wonderful teachers while I attended but overall I would not recommend the school. I don't think I was really taught any life long skills or guided in a good direction that benefited my future. It felt that if I wasn't the mvp or the straight A student I was not good enough. It wasn't until graduation that I really was able to appreciate myself no matter how little awards I had or how average my grades were.

A few years back, the school wasn’t great. They really upped their game. Teachers are accommodating, counselors are accommodating. Psychologists are available. Great health nurse, and great faculty. I have had no issues.
