GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My overall experience at San Fernando High School was mediocre. The food that was given to us students was not so great it looked and was made with poor quality food. And the security that were hired did not give off professionalism.

San Fernando Senior High is a very good school with some good programs. I personally like that the school provides an auto-shop and wood shop for students to learn. I was in both programs and would recommend it to anybody that is interested in mechanical skills or wood working skills. The school offers other programs like culinary, but for the most part it's like any other high school experience.
