Established in 1889, Saint Raphael School is a private Catholic school right in the center of Downtown San Raphael. Prekindergarten through eighth grade students can attend Saint Raphael, which is fully accredited and part of the education system of the Archdiocese of San Francisco.
The school’s academic curriculum combines the core subjects of math, science, English and social studies with religious studies based in the Catholic tradition. Specialty classes in art, music, technology and world languages are also offered to students, giving them room to explore their personal interests and creativity.
Sports offered at Saint Raphael include basketball, volleyball and track and field. The school strives to provide each student with an excellent education while also emphasizing strong, faith-based teachings and values. With a mission statement is to help foster the growth of students and to lovingly encourage each child’s unique gifts from God, Saint Raphael School is proudly listed among the best Catholic schools in the entire Bay Area.

St. Raphael's school is an amazing place. The teachers and principal set up the students for success and definitely go above and beyond the call of duty.
