GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I liked my school a lot, I feel like there were a lot of opportunities they handed us but a few of those were for selected people and did not really give a chance for other to be in groups. We had two new groups this year that had teachers "select" the student but it was all kids who's parents worked for the district or had a lot of money. The group started at the start of the year and there was a new kid that was put into the group one week after we started. It's very pick me school and teachers are not fair with students. They have favorites and will show that they have favorites

I loved how some people were involved. I would like to see more fun activity's and more school spirit.

I loved many things about Perkins High school. Most teachers that I had were amazing and did their best to see me succeed in life. The environment was peaceful as well, there was no bullying, no kids being mistreated, no sad kids insight. The only thing I would say that the school needed to approve on would be the teaching. Most of my teachers were excellent, but there were a few that did not teach the lesson properly for students to fully understand.

Good kids and teachers. Lots of opportunities for the kids, both academically and athletics. Laptops for all students.

Best school I could have asked for! Teachers are extremely nice and actually care about their students. Every student gets a Macbook Air to use during their time at Perkins that greatly supplements their learning. Extremely progressive!

This district has gone down hill dramatically in the past few years. Teacher strike. Declining test scores. Out of touch administration, board of education, and poor communication. If you can live elsewhere, do it. This is a school district on its way down.

School Bullying Policy- none Teacher Helpfulness- none Dress Code- might as well go to school uniforms
