GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It is a good school. It has started promoting the health sciences program more recently, which allows students more opportunities for beyond high school education but it is still limited.

The building itself is very nice, the actual education is mediocre. Administration is awful at communicating, very unclear.

The building is beautiful (built in 2012). All around outstanding place, and great community to have such a big/nice school. the right teachers and staff are always higher and exceed all expectations. Have gone to school here for 4 years and wouldn't ask for anything different.

I have nothing but great things to say about Sandy High School and its staff. They genuinely care about the students and the community.

There is little to no support in almost any department (funding-wise) except for the sports section. There is NO support or proper discipline agains...

the lunch rooms are cramped that could be solved by having open campus for seniors. Traffic jams before and after school that go for about a mile. Most classes now have 30-40 students for 1 teacher. big focus on sports and cte compared to band and clubs. Math dept is lackluster, Tech is nowhere near...
