GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have had a very enjoyable time in AOC. The great thing about the school is the access to college level courses that you can take part in at COC right next door.

The best part about the experience is being able to take college courses and be on a college campus while still being in highschool. However, this means a lot of work which can be very stressful. Additionally, there are no sports teams and there is not that many events run by the school.

Starting next semester I will be a sophomore at AOC. It has been a great experience, there are 100 students per grade which is smaller than other campuses but you get to know everyone. Everyone there is super friendly and the work load isnt that big if you don't procrastinate.

I’m so glad that my child is at AOC! It’s a small school, about 400 students total, which makes for a tight-knit and welcoming community. My child tells me all the time how everyone is so nice and respectful of one another. At AOC, kids take some college classes at COC, so that upon graduating, they...

AOC has to rethink its policies and create a student-focused school environment and it especially needs to readjust its policies and treatment of special needs students. There is too much unnecessary homework at this school. The instructions are confusing, sometimes conflict, and the instructions cha...

It's a fantastic school to prepare kids for college. They can work on their majors in high school, and even graduate from high school with AA degrees if they plan it right. Also, the kids that I know are fantastic future leaders.

There are good students and bad students, great teachers and terrible teachers in AOC just like any other school. If your kid is a type of student who ends up doing all group work, I don't recommend this school. There are so many group work, homework, and teachers make things harder just to make thi...
