GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall I've had a good high school experience. I was given opportunities for classes that have extended my college career. The least appealing part of my experience is the lack of assistance with less able students - those who have learning or physical disabilities.

Satsuma has been a great school. The teachers have worked really hard throughout my high school years to make sure that all students are ready for college or careers after graduation. They genuinely care about their students and want to see us succeed after we leave them.

Overall it has been good to me, no terrible memories, mostly good memories, and if anything I feel ready for college. Most of the time the only grievances I have felt is when changes are made for seemingly no apparent reason and the food is intolerable most of the time.
