GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have been at my school since I was in Kindergarten. Schoolcraft High School was like a 2nd home to me. It has all my friends, and the memories I have made. Some of my favorite memories have been made. Examples are prom, football games, dances, lunch, and even my classes. There has been times I have felt like a failure, but my teachers stepped up, and helped me in ways I never knew I needed. The food is not the best, but for a small school it works. The kids can be harsh towards others sometimes, and it is hard to get other people's personality. But no matter what, I have loved going to my school, and would even put my kids back there someday.

Overall, I really liked the opportunities I had. I was able to take college classes that were graciously paid for in full by my high school, and that really gave me the head start I needed for college. I wish there were a bit more guidance in terms of academic help, but I managed to get by.

Small town school mostly consisting a population of farmers kids. I had a great time growing up there.

Overall this is an amazing school district. We do not have the funding if the bigger schools in Portage, but we still crank out college ready kids! Out sports program is amazing. We have great supportive coaches and teachers. There are problems in every school, so we arent perfect, but as far as pub...

The worst school I've been to. Students are rude, if you don't do sports you're a nothing. If you don't make a certain amount of money, you're a nothing. This school will not negotiate with you.
