The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

As of right now I am a junior at Lakeland Junior/Senior Highschool. So far, my experiences have been good as my teachers have been super nice to me, and our programs are pretty good. I would like to see more of the administration helping students, as I see a lot of kids struggling due to teachers not helping them/working to their fullest potential.

Not a terrible school but you get out what you put into it. If you take the AP/honor track, you'll be set up for success. However, if you choose basic courses you will have a hard time excelling.

My experience during Lakeland has been beyond amazing. I have made many friends and learned a lot. What I learned is if you make the most of your school it will be great. I loved how close the Lakeland community is and how we are so supportive of others. Also, I love the teachers I had and how I could make many friends so easily. One thing I would like to see changed is the resource we have. I feel as if Lakeland doesn't have as many as other schools do.
I attended this school before superintendent R. Scott Jeffery unfortunately passed away. Mr. Jeffery became superintendent after my first year, and he immediately made a huge impact on the school. Long overdue major renovations began soon after. In my last couple of years in high school, Lakeland st...

Improved lot with electricity, sewage, and water connected- take this chance to have your own slice of Greenfield Township. It's the perfect mix of county peace but you're not too far from any amenities- with only a short 20 minute drive to Dickson City.
