GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Sharon has a great school system with tons of opportunities to take upper-level classes, which is very helpful during the college application process. But, the atmosphere of the school is wildly competitive because students are in constant toxic competition with each other, partially caused by parental pressure to get into a top 20 school.

SHS has a small community compared to other high schools in the area. The teacher and students have an opportunity to work one on one or in small groups and build relationships. There is a new state of the art building built for the high school.

Two kids went thru Sharon School system, k-12. They were well prepared for college academically, but more importantly they were exposed to classmates and families of many different cultures and religions and learned a great deal from these interactions.

Our whole family LOVED Heights! Every single morning my daughter would literally run to school! I was very impressed with academic progress of my kid, but what I miss the most are people of Heights! Teachers and administration were extremely supportive, professional and kind!
