GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I find that C.E. Byrd High School is a perfect high school for someone who wants to go to a decently sized high school. It is not too massive where you will only ever meet a few hundred people, but it is big enough where everyday you can talk to someone new you didn't talk to the day prior.

C.E. Byrd High School is a very large school with a very large student body. My personal experience was good, I have enjoyed most of my time here. I have made many friends and took many great classes. I met amazing teachers and have joined lots of clubs. One thing I would love to see change is the diversity of this school.
