The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at John F. Kennedy High School was pretty good, however I did not have a chance to experience most of Kennedy due to the pandemic. The things that I enjoyed about Kennedy was the different academies and program provided for students in hopes of exploring a career path like Healthcare,LTI, NJROTC, Business, and Teaching. Something that I would want to be changed is the building should be more spacious and have more classrooms.

Just one of America 24,000 public schools cramming student into the A, B,C, D, category. Staff do the minimum job of read off the curriculum and grade, once a while we get those who seem to care, and for the students, they are just the product of there environment. ~ sincerely a educational system made to produce worker's unless some escape

I currently attend Kennedy as a Junior. This school would be way greater than it is if it weren't for the individual students themselves. Teachers here actually care about what they do, it's just that some students don't try. There are amazing things in this school like the IB programs, AP classes,...

JFK is a great school for kids to learn and grow as young people. This school has a number of programs that students can join like the healthcare professions, NJROTC, and a ton of International Baccalaureate classes! I would definitely send my child to this school. In a recent survey, students share...

It's an OK school. I've been going to Kennedy for 3 years now. The teachers put forth their best efforts to help a student succeed, but what the majority of students show is lack of compassion and motivation at this school. I want to say less than 20% of the students here at JFK HS try and do their...
