The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

I have gone to Klahowya since 6th grade and I have found it as an amazing small school to learn and explore the different subjects

There were many ups and downs in my time at Klahowya Secondary School. I was there from 7th-12th grade and had a mix of teachers and classes I loved as well as some I hated. By the end of my time there, I was very ready to be graduating and getting out. However, I can not say it was all bad as I did meet people who have continued to be in my life and I had classes and teachers that I was able to learn a lot from. The school in general does not have much school spirit and political thinking was taking over during the years following covid, which certainly didn't help in my enjoyment of the school. While it got me through my middle and high school years, I would not recommend Klahowya Secondary School to anyone looking for a decent public school.

My favorite part about Klahowya is the teachers and the support system that you have from the staff.
This school never failed to make me feel awful. The staff and students would pick on you and just make you feel so damn stupid. The teachers play favorites and pick on the kids that stand up for themselves. This school made me want to die. Glad I don't go there anymore.
The teachers and the students have a mutual respect for one another. The curriculum is challenging and provides students with a sense of accomplishment that paves the way to further success. These students are University bound.
