GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I would like to see MHS have extracururiculars on days other than Wednesdays. What this does is be annoying. I also wish it was easier to remove your study hall.

Staff are all friendly and always supportive, great school overall. The building itself is cool, good sports teams.

The science department needs to reexamine teaching methods and return to a focus on teaching subject material and less focus on theory or material not related to learning actual science. The high school facilities are very nice and well maintained and the music/performing arts department is wonderful.

It has good/bad. If a child has significant needs, they will get support, but for everyone else... It has a high rating bc of high test scores. Kids get high test scores due to an ultra competitive environment with significant parental pressure. Kids routinely skip years ahead in math, making kids w...

I'm a freshman and definitely think this school is great for college readiness. Everyone is really supportive and almost everyone from this school is looking forward to a great 4-year institution after high school.
