Social Circle High School prepares kids in Social Circle for their next steps, whether they’re dreaming of college or careers. With a complete academic program, the school offers dual enrollment programs with multiple colleges, so students can start to earn college credit while they’re still in high school. Social Circle students who work well independently can also participate in SCALE, the Social Circle Academy of Learning Excellence, which lets them attend school virtually. Many students feel that SCALE gives them flexibility, plus it lets them get a taste of the time management and study skills they’ll need for college. The school’s counseling and student support services team ensures students have the information they need to make wise decisions on their academic choices, and they are also there to help when students need social or emotional support. In sports, the Social Circle Redskins compete in region 8-A Public of the Georgia High School Association, fielding teams in every season. In addition to all the typical team sports, the school also offers unique opportunities with their air rifle and bass fishing teams. Social Circle prepares students for success in life after high school, whether they’re going on to colleges and universities or beginning their careers.

I would love to see the school include more career paths for the students. I loved the small setting of the school.

I love Social Circle High School. There are minor things that they could improve on, but overall great school. Very good academics but not the best at sports.

I am a recent graduate from Social Circle High School and I attended Social Circle City Schools since Pre-K. I enjoyed going to school everyday because I knew I had teachers and friends who I could talk to. The principal and assistant principal are amazing and they make sure the every student is safe. I had perfect attendance for 12 years.

To be fair, I had a great time here. But the only reason I say that is because my close friends and the marching band made it good. The people there - eh, it's a good mix of undesirable people and really great people. But the actual learning and the teachers, that's a bit iffy. I switched over to So...

I went here and it was terrible. A lot of people paint it as something special but it is not. Probably the best option around the area considering its becoming the hood, but if you can afford it by all means put your kids in private school if you care about them.

The school has very nice facilities. The sports complex is amazing. The teachers are great and nice. The small town community is the best.

Social Circle High School was a great school when I attended! I loved the small town atmosphere it was in and the student-teacher connects that I was able to form because of the small classroom sizes. I loved most of teachers and liked all of them I was able to actually get to know them and form rea...
