The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The school is great. I don't really know what I would change about the school, because the school has given me so much great opportunities..they have been sending great opportunities that would be useful for me when I get into college. The only thing I would try to change is the sports..I wish there were more sports during the spring time so I could join. But there than that I love my school.

I strongly enjoyed my time at Franklin High School. It prepared me adequately for my college career. The arts departments were often underfunded but we made do and still occasionally won awards. The administration changed wildly over my four years there and was rarely consistent. The school is incredibly diverse, many different people to be seen there. Drugs were occasionally a problem but only a handful of times.

Franklin High school is an amazing school with many opportunities available including several clubs, sports, and school events that other schools may not have. Additionally they have amazing staff and a very diverse community.

My daughter graduated Franklin High School in 2019, and my younger daughter currently attends. Coming from a private school background, I was not expecting much, especially due to the negative reviews the school tends to get. I was blown away by the programs and resources the school has to offer. My...

Great experience with my 3 kids! School provides good support for all kids - academics, sports, arts, music....good set of AP courses. Unmatched diversity a huge plus! Great counselors, but wish the student:counselor ratio was better to help kids prepare better for college starting 9th grade!
