The O'Neal is what you make it. I am aware that for some students it is likely less than ideal, especially for those more focused on STEM fields of study. The staff and teachers are amazing, and the culture of the student body is very supportive. There are some recent flaws with administration, but those seem to be working towards being fixed. If you are willing to be engaged then it is a wonderful place.

Very good 1 on 1 experience with the teachers and due to the size of the school you really get to know everyone.

Rich kid, cocky culture. Some teachers are top notch, others are embarrassingly bad. Administration has been all over the place over the years. Started off well and got worse in my opinion. O'Neal is fantastic in the "rich kid sports" like Soccer, Swimming, and Golf. I played Varsity soccer all four years and would have been a more key player at a public school... lots of talent.
