GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall good experience, bathrooms are wrecked and I avoid them but that's the most negative thing about it. Which is only a problem due to students. The teachers are nice and care for their classes which makes it a great learning environment though some don't really teach too great. I think it has a good class selection which made me more open to being apart of the school, as well as several different clubs to welcome you or teach of different aspects that life has to offer.

During my 4 years at school there were many ups and downs. Overall I had a good time but the school did have occasional fires set off by student that were quickly and safely handled by the administrators. The teachers were helpful and nice for the most part though some did have their moments. What I would change is for the administrators to get more personal with the students and understand what they would like for activities.

Edward C. Reed High School is a very culturally diverse school and embraces these different cultures. This school does a good job of making everyone feel welcome. Facilities such as restrooms are not the best. Food is not very nutritious. Music and arts programs are extraordinary. Would encourage going to Reed and participating in the arts and any sports.

My experience with Reed has been less than stellar. I have found that the teachers have grown apathetic to the individual concerns of the students or parents. The class sizes are 30 -1 or higher and the bureaucracy has been set up in such a way as to discourage teachers from trying innovative ways t...
