This was my first year here and it was not that amazing. If you're not Caucasian and athletic, you're not going to fit in very well. Hardly any diversity here and everyone is rich. The regular classes could be more challenging, I had to take all pre ap classes this year because I found that the regular on level classes were too easy. The kids in the on level classes weren't that engaged and it was a mad house. In the advanced classes the kids there actually work and stay quiet and learn.

There is a full time police staffed at the school, and school social workers, and psychologists. Student to teacher ratio is more like 28:1 average, many classes maxing out at 32. It’s larger class sizes.

Our youngest son went to Lake Travis Middle, the first year it was opened. He had a great experience and was well prepared for high school. He went on to graduate from high school and and was offered a full academic scholarship and admission to numerous universities including US Berkley.

My granddaughter has been bullied both verbally and physically since she started at this school and absolutely nothing has been done except mouthing words to the parents that she would be cared for. If you don't want your child to become a statistic don't go here
