GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The Community School is a great place for students who learn best through non-traditional education styles. I have always felt a strong connection to the facilitators here as well as the subjects that they teach because of how hands on the curriculum is. Though most of my experiences with The Community School are positive I believe that there is a serious lack of discipline prevalent here that has not helped my educational experience. I do hope that going forward there will be more leadership opportunities and out of school opportunities such as clubs offered to students.

There is an overall feeling of community that has been built between the facilitators and students; along with an incredibly warm, welcome environment!
