GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

To be very honest, the school was good. The environment was nice, the people were nice. Well some people. The teachers were amazing, like they will always help you and push you to your limits. And that is what I love about Queens Preparatory Academy.

I integrate this school on 11 grade and I just come from Haiti in the Catholic school where I spoke French. At the beginning, communicate with my classmate was challenging. Specially my counselor Raymond Michele made a good curses for following the ESL classes. I really appreciate how the teachers encouraged me and let me know that I can achieve my goal. Finally I got 28 credit, passed 7 regents, obtained 3.5 as a GPA and graduate. I love this school very much. the teachers are friendly. There is a good time sheet, good planning for all activities. I don't regret one moment in my life to integrate this school.

This is not a good school. Please do not attend it because the students don’t allow the teachers to teach and we barely get to learn anything. The teachers have a hard time disciplining students and the students who want to learn are always getting bothered by those who don’t care about learning. Mo...

This school is a jungle! Everybody and everything is so unorganized. I wish I never stayed at that school for four years, but I'm glad to have met some people. The principal is not understanding. It's like she isn't open to new ideas. She tried to make everyone open to helping the community, but she...
