M. Marcus Kiley Middle School is located at 180 Cooley Street in the Sixteen Acres neighborhood. Established in 1963, the school serves students in sixth to eighth grades. Kiley Middle School has an approximate enrollment of 225 students and a 16-to-1 student-to-teacher ratio. Similar to other Springfield schools, students at M. Marcus Kiley Middle School have access to laptops for regular classroom and home use. In addition to standard courses in math, science, English Language Arts and physical education, students can also get involved in extracurricular activities such as Student Council, the National Honor Society and FitZone. Students are also encouraged to participate in community service. Athletic fields and a blacktop area provide space for students to enjoy soccer and other athletic activities on the school grounds. The school’s auditorium was recently renovated in 2018, and this highly regarded institution even houses an indoor pool. Kiley Middle School is a member of the Springfield Empowerment Zone Partnership.

i really like this school have not gotten bullied once and my grades are great online learning was very hard but ever since i came to this school i brought my grades up and the teachers are really nice

with the reviews on the school and with my neighbors who have sent their children to this school i will never send my child here she loves school and this school is not going to ruin it for her its so bad here that i will home school her before she goes here and the school department has no clue how...

this is a terrible school bulling from students and the teacher don't care .bad really bad ..experience rude bad attitude from counselor and staff
