GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I liked many things about Thurston High School. While they have many options for arts classes I would have liked to have more options in PE classes. I would have liked to see a ballet, yoga or exercise class of some sort to fulfill the PE requirements.

It's tight-knit but not cliquey. Most teachers and admin love being here. Bullying and harassment are less of an issue than in bigger schools, and there is a diverse mix of people from in and out of town.

Very average school. Nothing special, not great at college preparation, and weird grading. The facilities are in dire need of updating as well.
