GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at Bellows Free Academy was at times really amazing as it checked every box I needed it to. However once graduating I've come to realize it didn't do a great job a preparing me for my college experience.

Personally, I like how this school runs its courses. I feel that I am given equal parts freedom and education along with many extracurricular options.

I love BFA because of the very devoted staff. Not the most diverse school, but it has given me a great four years!

He flew through middle school pulling straight A's without ever studying. BFA challenged him for the first time in his...

There are many issues to deal with at the high school level and BFA has the tools but is lacking the ability to get the students on boardl. Having seen many students go through this school, I can say the most pertinant issue to manage is student/teacher relationships. The students are allowed to wak...
