GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Throughout my first two years of attendance at Stanley-Boyd High School, I had a great experience. Throughout my junior and senior year, things took a turn. I had run into some mishaps with the administration and some of the faculty, in which they were doing things that were uncalled for and childish. There were definitely great aspects of my experience at Stanley Boyd, but there are many factors playing into my hatred for the district.

There aren't a lot to choose from, but I will say most students participate in something.

I frankly don't care if anyone from the school sees this and knows it's me; no matter what a teacher's opinion on anything is, it's dangerous to let them use a classroom as a soapbox! It was awful. My parents called the...
