GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The teachers at Mccreary Central Highschool are friendly and often are on good terms with their students. However, there is currently a staff shortage resulting a position constantly being open often not enough substitutes if they were needed.

I loved the school pride and how involved in sports and clubs the student body was. We are a very poor county so parts of the school need updated.

I like how open and accepting the staff is though the student body may not be as accepting tho everyone finds their own little click so nobody's truly alone it all works out in the end. I never see someone alone. The staff and teachers are always trying to help the student body. Mchs is all about colleges and the academics, they make an effort to always have tutoring available and Everytime it's offered I always see people attending tutoring
