GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My school is overall small. No fights but a lot of students who are rude but our teachers try to control it. Our teachers are amazing, almost everyone has a connection with them. They make us feel like we can talk to them about anything. Bullying is sort of a thing at our school its not big but it is there, but they try to stop it whenever they see someone getting bullied. Staff is also very nice they make us feel welcomed.

Edward C. Merlo or Merlo is a really good school. From the first day, I stepped foot into Merlo I knew that this was great school. Compared to other schools It's pretty small only having 400 students. That still does have the effect of making the classes smaller and better for one on one conversations with the teachers. Almost every teacher is such a great and supportive person that you learn to appreciate every teacher even the ones that were hard on you.

Academics The academics are terrible, they do not focus on teaching the subject but rather on unrelated topics. College Readiness They killed my dream of becoming a FBI that I should go back to the the barn ; ( Principal -(1) Takes credit of your hardwork -(1) Blames failures on others instead, instead of her self. -(2) Doesn't offer advice as to dealing with negativity , peer pressure, RUDE but hides it with S.U.S.D., Adults, teachers, but not with students -(3) Impulsive, Corrupt (Conduct your research), Does't care for the students, only MOTIVE is to improve her SALARY, Reputation, connections. (4) Should be Fired ASAP.
