GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best part here in John H. Francis Polytechnic is the community, I really like it and very engaging. The worst part is constant fire alarms blaring all the time.

Work in progress right now, new principle is good and the newly constructed buildings are sleek and fresh. Could do with less students fighting

The experience I've had in this school would be overall positive as it's a welcoming community. There are a lot of different ways one could connect with this school, whether it be through clubs, sports, or even school spirit. The adults at this school provide students with help with things like college, grades, etc. They are very supportive of all of their students and do their best to make them feel welcomed and heard.

I still love and have loved this school. I would do any thing in my power to help any student ( especially in the music department and or math) in their endeavors in life. Dan L. Class of 1959.
