Big Walnut High School has definitely shaped me into who I am today. I would definitely say that things have significantly changed my senior year, regarding the administration Yet we still are safe and have the safe amazing teachers and opportunities as before. The only thing that I would wish be changed a little bit is the lack of respect. Meaning, the administration treat everyone as children. Even though a lot of us our 17 and 18 we get treated as though we are 8 which doesn't quite prepare us for the future where we are on our own.

At Big Walnut the teachers are great and very understanding. There is a very diverse range of classes, it is very nice to be able to explore different areas of learning. One of the bad parts of Big Walnut is the administration because they are very strict, which normally wouldn't be a bad thing, but they are banning flags because of their homophobic beliefs. The flag banning isn't the only thing, but they're d too much to cover in this one page.

I like Big Walnut High School because of the community surrounding the school. The people who live in Sunbury are super supportive of school events and extracurriculars. As an athlete on the lacrosse team, I would like to see changes in access to the new turf field. If athletes want to put in extra practice toward their sport, they need facilities to practice in/on.

I love Big Walnut High School. We are a military family and have moved all over the place, but have found BWHS to be one of the best schools we've encountered.
