St.Edward the Confessor is an incredible school with outstanding teachers and staff. Being a Syosset resident I love the community and especially love the education my children are receiving at St.Edward's. Wouldn't have them anywhere else!

Average academics, average teachers and a bad school culture. The school is run by the administration, but the parents have a big influence in everything starting with the grades, schedule, snow days and recognition for the students. It is just another school run by the local community rather than professionals.

I was skeptical of the value of private school before sending our children. Now that we have, I couldn't overstate its value if I tried.St Ed's does everything in it's power to put the children first, which is not to be taken for granted.

What can I say about this school? This school is truely an amazing place for a child to learn and grow. My child has been there since Pre K and she is smart, respectable and well mannered. She caught on to many concepts very quickly. She has a caring heart and knows how to treat others with kindness...
