Tallmadge High School is known for academic excellence, impressive athletics and unique programs designed to empower students and prepare graduates for a successful transition to college and a career. The school offers dozens of diverse program options including College Credit Plus, Advanced Placement courses and career training programs in business management, automotive technologies, criminal justice, media production and marketing.
Instructional strategy at Tallmadge High School is modeled through problem-based service learning, collaborative teaching approaches and the appropriate integration of technology. The school building provides ample space for clustered learning with two academic wings, an arts corridor and an auditorium for annual plays and musicals.
In addition to academics, Tallmadge High School has a robust athletics program with an expansive and newly-designed 3,500-seat stadium that includes an artificial turf football and soccer field and a track with eight lanes. The field house boasts new locker facilities, public restrooms and a concession stand. These state-of-the-art facilities provide allow hundreds of students to participate in soccer, football, track and field, cross-county, softball, baseball and marching band.

The best part of Tallmadge school system is the academics provided. They have teachers available to help in every subject, and are getting students college ready. The worst part is that there isn't much diversity present, and the student body is very culturally limited. I want to see more changes in protocol against illegal behaviors such as vaping or non-illegal behaviors such as bullying.

As an LGBTQ+ student I have been called a slur or discriminated against because of my orientation by students in this school and the faculty does nothing about it. I believe that there should be some kind of repercussion for these students that are often involved in sports and positions of power in the student council.

It is a great school system. Teachers are willing to help students anytime they need. Administration is fair as well.
