GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

In THS I was new to the state and I experienced a very welcoming sense of community. Nonetheless it is a high school and my time there we had many different trade resources, culinary and arts programs. Ms Taylor was my guidance counselor and she is amazing. She single handly helped me succeed.

Well my senior year was my first and last year there and it was one if not the most exciting and thrilling year through all of my high school experience, I met a lot of new people. I made some great friends, I joined the swim team and had a blast there too. I had gone to homecoming and prom which were both wonderful nights. I had also went on trips during the year with the forum which is a small space there in the school where we have social workers who can talk with you and guide you and advise you with whatever you had going on. While there I had met a great amount of teachers who were supportive and encouraging so I believe my first and last year at Teaneck high school was my best year of high school.

My years at Teaneck High School is something I will always remember. Even the pandemic hit in 2020 and I was virtual for sophomore and junior year I have enjoyed making new friends and developed relationships with my teachers. What I liked about Teaneck High is the diversity of students and learning how to become comfortable in Teaneck school district. I have been in Teaneck for almost nine years and I wasn't really that social like I should be at my age until I got to high school. I'm very thankful finishing up my high school years at Teaneck High School. I appreciate all my friends and teaches who have helped me get to where I am today academically.

I have a couple of things to say. and generally i wished this school would do better. First, This school looks old and de-painted, it's also mostly covered in trash and whatnot, secondly. the administration office and the counselors/case managers over at the school won't even help you. if you report...

Our son is a senior at THS and we have had nothing but positive experiences throughout his 4 years here. He has had the advantage of dedicated, knowledgeable, supportive teachers who make sure to be aware of students' needs and abilities, as well as encouraging parent involvement. The principal is a...
