GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Western Boone is a great school that offers great teachers. The sports and coaches are amazing and want the best for their athletes as well.

I love my school. I transferred from Lebanon to Western Boone last year. Western Boone was so welcoming very kind, and helpful.

Western Boone is a great school to attend. I have been going there since Sophomore year and it has been great. The teachers seem to really care about the students which I really like. The sports and athletics are also very good. We won two football state championships in a row. Our weights program is probably one of the best in the state, especially for a AA school.

Webo has a truly top notch art program that not only engages students, but pushes them to achieve their best work. The faculty cares about student success and makes them aware of opportunities they might be interested in, then helps out every step of the way to get them where they want to be.

As a student, I can say that Webo is not as great as it could be. There are the good students and athletes that everyone see's, but there is a seedy underground part as well. There is a lot of pills in circulation, a lot of rumors, and a lot of people who will get you drugs or cigarettes almost imme...

My family moved to the Western Boone community when I was in 2nd grade and my sister was in 7th grade. I still remember my family meeting with the administrators and feeling very welcome. We checked out two other school districts and Western Boone was the last one my parents looked at before they de...

I am a parent of a special needs teenager. After struggling in every school he has ever attended, WEBO has been such a breath of fresh air. I feel I can finally trust that my son is being treated fairly and not being bullied. The Teachers, Special Ed staff, Principal, VP and Sports coaches have been...
