GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Tigard High School can be an amazing school in some respects and an incredibly frustrating one in others. One thing I love about this school is the diverse music program that covers everything from classical to rock and roll. All the teachers at Tigard are also helpful and truly care about the students they teach. One thing I don't like about the school is the food. At best, it can be enough to be considered a meal; at worst, it can make you wonder how they could serve this to students. Overall, I love this school and wouldn't want any other.

Overall, it was a fine school to attend and graduate from. The academics were fine and everything was bearable. The one things I was not the most fond of was the constant pushing of all these ideals the school had and wanted every student to uphold. School is a place where you are supposed to learn and discover yourself, not constantly be told things are true that might not be true at all.

Best parts was having things like Avid and the career center which gave me information on scholarships for example Oregon promise which am using to go to pcc. While not exactly the worst parts was the back in forth with college help with having to go to teachers and consuelers and never really getting a straight answer with certain questions

We love it, and have been in the community for years! THS is a great recently modernized school that provides a wide variety of well funded academic during and after school programs. Community is great, involed in support, fundraising and volunteering. The kids experience a great mix of education, c...

Overall, excellent school. Provides a healthy amount of AP/IB coursework for the dedicated student. Teachers and administrators seem to care.

Overall, Tigard High is a quality school so long as the kid is motivated and has parents keeping an eye on things. Teachers routinely dont return emails. If a parent wishes to track their kid's progress in a particular class, Tigard High has a website portal for parents to use. The problem is, teach...
