GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The staff are very helpful and care about all of the students. The school provides several ways to help students after graduation and have programs to give students a head start on college. They do restrict the seniors compared to other schools unfortunately, but they work really hard to help students and get them motivated to better their lives.

I love that they have small class sizes so that the teachers can give students one on one. Love the fact that sports are open to anyone. Tutoring 2 days a week for 35 mins

Horizon science academy really helps with getting students ready for college and even help kids take college classes so early online so they have their regular high school credits and even college credits. The staff is very friendly and it is very easy to ask for help on assignments and start getting ready for state testing. I would recommend this school for anyone who is willing to learn and have a ambition to go to college.

This school is the reason why my sister is depressed, they kept trying to suspend my own sister who did nothing wrong, would not recommend them for any reason, and their students are failing.

My son is in his 6th year here and he has done very well. The admins are very caring and the school has excellent programs in the area of STEM.

This is a great school. My kids have been there for 8 years and we absolutely love it! The staff are great! They are very helpful and dedicated to their students. I would highly recommend this school to parents that are considering changing schools or first timers!
