Academically my school is competitive and challenging. My teachers for the most part are all willing to make connections with students which I find valuable. We are currently renovating so things are about to change for the better in terms of our buildings and facilities, which we were in desperate need of. I am looking forward to a new and clean learning environment.

Torrington High School is a great high school for anyone in the area. They provide the ability to take college courses so you can earn credits in high school, along with having an amazing band and good sports all around.

Very strong in academics centered around STEM. Higher level teachers really encourage you to learn and succeed past high school. However lower classes don't seem to push students as hard.

My peers here are mismanaged and extremely disrespectful, often racist, and extremely unprepared, and seniors somehow have the right to bully people and get away Scott-free because of senior privilege, the freshmen are very annoying and disruptive, and many peop...

My son loves his school. He has been attending Torrington High for 4 years now. Teachers and staff are so wonderful as well. Wish we could be here for the new school.

Our experience has been very positive. The teachers really care and go above and beyond. The administration is very open and works with the student and parents.

For any student to be successful, they need the support of both parents and the education system. It is sad to see that there are too many parents now days that simply don't spend the time necessary to ensure that their child has the full support that they need to succeed.
