GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Itis a good school that helps you prepare for college, it doesn't have sport opportunities and has little clubs, but overall its good.

Alta Vista High School has provided a safe environment and benefit such as the dual Enrollment at Pima Community Collage. They allow us to go off campus to the Pima collage as well as providing transportation to the college and back. By letting go us to Pima collage it gives us the collage experience and help prepare us for life after high school. We are able to learn under the collage environment. The school has provide textbook and laptops for anything or everything we may need to be successful in the class. They pay for the classes and the students dont have to pay for anything.

What made my experience at Alta Vista High School unique was the different clubs and programs, the support, benefits, and opportunities that others and I can obtain. There's a variety of clubs that one can settle into, such as Math League, Mesa Club, and Gaming Club. Programs such as Youth Entrepren...
