Anchored in the Blenman-Elm Historic District only a few miles from Downtown Tucson, Saints Peter & Paul Catholic School is a private parochial school serving about 400 students in kindergarten through eighth grade. With a motto that everyone at the school is “called to serve, to learn, and to love,” Saints Peter & Paul emphasizes actively living one’s faith and serving the community. While the school celebrates Mass weekly and integrates religion into daily learning, the faculty and staff reinforce the core values of reverence, respect, responsibility and rigor. As for academics, English language arts and math focus on Common Core Standards and science incorporates hands-on learning. Additionally, social studies go beyond history to encompass studies of communities across the globe. The curriculum also includes art, music, physical education, computers, Spanish, technology and the nearly lost art of penmanship. Outside of the classroom, students can build camaraderie through sports on the basketball courts, volleyball courts or the school’s own track and field. Saints Peter & Paul also hosts a calendar of events throughout the year from Annual Superkids Days for avid readers and holiday festivities to field trips to Catalina Sea Camp in Southern California. In and out of school, students at Saints Peter & Paul can connect with their faith in the real world every day.

until 2016 all appeared well and after that it all fell apart given the devious and mean tactics of the school administration

It has been a positive experience, I have nothing but great things to say. I enjoy that they encourage parents to be evolved. I truly feel like this is a strong community.

SSPP hast helped my son get into a higher level math course in high school. SSPP challenged my son by offering a high school level Math course. Several students in this course tested out of freshmen level math in high school.

Grades 1-5 were okay. Grades 6 and higher may seriously set your child back, except in English. I cannot emphasize this strongly enough.
