GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best parts about my experience at East Central High School was being in extra-curriculars that challenged me. The worst parts were that not all teachers were engaging with every student to make sure that lessons were understood and were not really compliant when asked for help.

This is my first year at this school, and I have to admit I was scared to come at first it;s a new setting and the school had a previous reputation. plus I came from a small charter school so the level of "upright" was different in a way from a bigger public school. however even without a circle of friends, the community has grown on me the faculty really does care about every student, and I have found myself taking advantage of the resources there. however, when I ask my school companions if they have done the same, they don't seem really interested in doing so for the most part. I'm not saying the whole school is like this, I have come to like the school.
