The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Some of the things I would like to change about Nathan Hale would be the academic support that the teachers have to offer the students. There are some who have no interest on pushing you to the limit you need to reach, they feel as though your education is up to you. Although, that is correct any bit of encouragement and/or motivation could change any students mindset.

If you want to be involved in extra curricular activities this is a perfect school to got to. There are always spots available in clubs and the teachers are all very welcoming. Diversity is a big part of the school, when I went we had a foreign exchange student.

I rate it 3/5. There are things that make it worthwhile, like the teachers and a handful of the students, but things are consistently unorganized and the principal is not good for the state of the school.

Very disappointing to find out the high school and middle school both give partial credit for missing homework or projects in math and science. My son struggled with math and science and this school did nothing to help boost his skills. Math and science are the lowest performance areas for these two...
